Brake Soundtrack [2012]

Jeremy Reins (Dorff) is about to have a very bad day.  He wakes up in total darkness, confused and disoriented.  The only light comes from the blood-red digital numbers ticking away above his head.  Jeremy quickly realizes he’s in trouble. It’s hard to breathe.  He can barely move.  And no one will answer his cries for help.  Then, he hears the sound of an engine and it all becomes clear … he’s trapped in the trunk of a moving car.

As his captors reveal themselves and their motives, Jeremy realizes he won’t be set free until he gives up the whereabouts of “Roulette,” a secret location where the U.S. President is taken in the event of a terrorist attack.
Action film veteran Brian Tyler provides an electronic-acoustic minimalist score that focuses on emotion and memory. At times intense and at times melancholy, the BRAKE score utilizes many unorthodox sounds including automobile parts, vintage synthesizers and drum machines, prepared pianos, guitars, percussion, and ambient soundscapes.

IFC Films opened BRAKE in theatres on March 23.

Columbus Circle Soundtrack [2012]

Abigail Clayton (Selma Blair) lives alone. Very alone. In fact, the attractive heiress has not left her Manhattan loft apartment for almost two decades. The famous daughter of a wealthy industrialist, Abigail disappeared from the prying eyes of the press and the intrusiveness of her family on her 18th birthday, the day she received her massive inheritance. During years of self-imposed isolation, Abigail has had contact with only two people-her building's Concierge, Klandermann (Kevin Pollack), with whom she communicates via notes-and Dr. Raymond Fontaine (Beau Bridges), a longtime family friend and her sole confidant for most of her life. When the death of her elderly neighbor prompts NYPD Homicide Detective Frank Giardello (Giovanni Ribisi) to launch an investigation, the agoraphobic Abigail is distressed to find him outside her door, asking to question her. Having tried to acquire the dead woman's now vacant apartment to ensure her privacy, Abigail is further upset when her requests go unanswered, and new tenants Lillian and Charlie (Amy Smart and Jason Lee) move in. Abigail anxiously monitors her new neighbors from the safety of her front door's peephole, but her well-ordered world begins to unravel when she finally encounters Lillian and Charlie face-to-face-and her sheltered existence becomes threatened in unexpected and terrifying ways.
For Columbus Circle, Brian Tyler has composed a chamber ensemble score featuring a string octet, piano, marimba, and vibraphone. The score is mysterious, intricate, and passionate with a nod to the great noir thrillers of the 1940s.  It is composed around 3 main themes and also features violin, cello, and piano solos.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Soundtrack [2011]

The most awaited game of this year Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 just released same day with the release the original soundtrack album for the game, featuring music composed by Brian Tyler. While Tyler may be relatively new to the game music world, he has seen plenty of action on both the big and small screens, scoring films including The Expendables and Battle: Los Angeles, along with Star Trek: Enterprise. But it isn’t just his talent or his experience with war films that makes Brian Tyler uniquely experienced to take on one of the biggest game soundtracks of the year. Tyler is a gamer, specifically one who has logged many hours playing online multiplayer in the Modern Warfare series. The Feed spoke with Brian Tyler about the music he created for Modern Warfare 3, the soundtrack album and why multiplayer menu screen music is just as important as the interactive themes heard while playing the game.

If you not live in the cave you had to see MF3 sign somewhere over the internet. And I'm dying to play this game even I don't like sucking concept Soviet fighting with US at all. haha

Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead a reunion of returning all-stars from every chapter of the explosive franchise built on speed in “Fast Five.” In this installment, former cop Brian O’Conner (Walker) partners with ex-con Dom Toretto (Diesel) on the opposite side of the law. Dwayne Johnson joins returning favorites Jordana Brewster, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Matt Schulze, Tego Calderon and Don Omar for this ultimate high-stakes race.

Since Brian and Mia Toretto (Brewster) broke Dom out of custody, they’ve blown across many borders to elude authorities. Now backed into a corner in Rio de Janeiro, they must pull one last job in order to gain their freedom. As they assemble their elite team of top racers, the unlikely allies know their only shot of getting out for good means confronting the corrupt businessman who wants them dead. But he’s not the only one on their tail.

Hard-nosed federal agent Luke Hobbs (Johnson) never misses his target. When he is assigned to track down Dom and Brian, he and his strike team launch an all-out assault to capture them. But as his men tear through Brazil, Hobbs learns he can’t separate the good guys from the bad. Now, he must rely on his instincts to corner his prey… before someone else runs them down first.

The movie is being directed by Justin Lin (Fast and Furious, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift).

Fast Five (Fast and Furious 5), the first film in the series to release in an IMAX theater, is set to be released on April 29, 2011.

The soundtrack includes new tracks and remixes from Ludacris and Don Omar, featuring Busta Rhymes. The compilation will be available in both CD and digital formats.

The soundtrack embodies musical elements from the film’s setting in Brazil by incorporating sounds of Latin music, reggaton, hip hop and Brazilian funk and hip hop. Talk about a nice array of genres. Fast fans can also hear a new track from Ludacris featuring Slaughterhouse and Claret Jai called “Furiously Dangerous.” We must say this title is very appropriate.

Middle Men Score [2010]

The score Brian Tyler composed for the film Middle Men, released digitally on August 3rd, simultaneous with the release of Middle MEN (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) that includes music from the Rolling Stones, J. Geils Band, Hall & Oates, George Thorogood, 2Pac, Outkast, Tito Puente, Moby, Patsy Cline, Tears for Fears, OMC and others.
The film, which opens nationally on August 6th, is a Paramount Pictures release, directed and co-written by George Gallo and produced by Christopher Mallick, William Sherak, Jason Shuman and Michael J. Weiss with Tricia Holloway serving as music supervisor. MIDDLE MEN stars Luke Wilson, Giovanni Ribisi, Gabriel Macht, Jacinda Barrett, Laura Ramsey, Terry Crews, Rade Sherbedgia, with Kevin Pollak and James Caan.
In 1995, everyone had a VCR, music was sold in record stores, and the world-wide-web was a new found discovery. Businessman Jack Harris (Luke Wilson) had the perfect life – a beautiful family and a successful career fixing problem companies. And then he met Wayne Beering (Giovanni Ribisi) and Buck Dolby (Gabriel Macht), two genius but troubled men, who had invented the way adult entertainment is sold over the internet. When Jack agrees to help steer their business, he soon finds himself caught between a 23-year-old porn star and the FBI all the while becoming one of the wealthiest entrepreneurs of his time. Inspired by a true story that proves business is a lot like sex… getting in is easy, pulling out is hard. Daily Variety descried MIDDLE MEN as "Boogie Nights meets Goodfellas."
George Gallo noted "Tricia Holloway and Chris Mallick were fantastic with their commitment to the movie's soundtrack and understanding that it was just as much a character in the story as the characters themselves. Normally you temp a movie with great songs and rarely do you get the opportunity to keep them in the final cut. Here I not only got the opportunity to keep them all, a few more great tunes were added. Composer Brian Tyler added an even deeper dimension to the movie. Whereas the songs punctuated the upbeat and chaotic energy of the story, Brian's score completely realized the growing sense of danger and regret that was driving Luke Wilson's character on his journey. The music, both songs and score, were beautifully synchronized and completely compliment one another."
http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/834/middlemen26.jpg
Brian Tyler, an accomplished multi-instrumentalist (drums, piano, guitar, bass, cello, percussion) and conductor has written scores for dozens of feature films and television productions. Recent projects Fast and Furious and Law Abiding Citizen earned him 3 ASCAP Film Music Awards and a nomination for Composer of the Year by the International Film Music Critics Association in 2010. His scores for Constantine and The Final Cut were also IFMCA nominees. He has scored numerous action features including Rambo, The Expendables, The Hunted, Alien vs. Predator: Requiem, The Final Destination, and Eagle Eye for producer Steven Spielberg.
http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/6773/middlemen27.jpg
Cinemusic named him Best New Film composer of the Year in 2002 with his Frailty score winning Best Thriller Score of the Year; he received an Emmy nomination for his score for The Last Call. He was nominated for Discovery of the Year at the World Soundtrack Awards that same year.
