The Grey Soundtrack [2012]

Joe Carnahan‘s The Grey, an adventure film set in Alaska in which Liam Neeson and a gang of oil-rig workers survive a plane crash, but face the forbidding weather and Alaskan wilderness, not to mention a pack of wolves, as they try to make it to safety, has arrived.

In The Grey, Liam Neeson leads an unruly group of oil-rig roughnecks when their plane crashes into the remote Alaskan wilderness. Battling mortal injuries and merciless weather, the survivors have only a few days to escape the icy elements and a vicious pack of rogue wolves on the hunt before their time runs out.

The cast for The Grey also includes Dermot Mulroney (About Schmidt), Dallas Roberts (3:10 to Yuma), Joe Anderson (Across the Universe), Nonso Anozie (Atonement), and James Badge Dale (The Pacific) and Frank Grillo (Warrior).
The Grey opened on January 27th, 2012.

Batman Forever Expanded Archival Collection [1995-2012]

Presenting the latest release in our Expanded Archival Collection, renowned composer Elliot Goldenthal's (ALIEN 3, DEMOLITION MAN, HEAT, A TIME TO KILL) original score to the 1995 WARNER BROS. blockbuster film BATMAN FOREVER, starring Val Kilmer, Tommy Lee Jones, Jim Carrey and Nicole Kidman, directed by Joel Schumacher. Underworld Awakening Soundtrack and Score [2012]

On Underworld: Awakening.’ Kate Beckinsale, star of the first two Underworld films, returns in her lead role as the vampire warrioress Selene, who escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species. Alongside Kate Beckinsale, the likes of Stephen Rea, Michael Ealy, Theo James, India Eisley and Charles Dance co-star.



Directed by Måns Mårlind and Björn Stein. The film is produced by Tom Rosenberg, Gary Lucchesi, Len Wiseman, and Richard Wright. Len Wiseman wrote the initial story for ‘Underworld: Awakening,’ the fourth installment in the Underworld franchise, which is based on characters created by Kevin Grevioux and Wiseman. The screenplay was written by John Hlavin, J. Michael Straczyinski, Allison Burnett and Wiseman. ’Underworld: Amakening’ is set for release January 20th, 2012.

After being held in a coma-like state for fifteen years, vampire Selena (Kate Beckinsale) learns that she has a fourteen-year-old vampire/Lycan hybrid daughter, Nissa, and when she finds her they must stop BioCom from creating super Lycans that will kill them all. The latest chapter in the Underworld saga marks the return of Kate Beckinsale in the title role of Selena and is the first of the series to be filmed in 3D and released in IMAX.

Joyful Noise Soundtack [2012]

WaterTower Music is releasing the official soundtrack album for the gospel-choir comedy Joyful Noise. The album includes a score suite by composer Mervyn Warren who is also involved in arranging and producing the film’s songs performed by Queen Latifah, Dolly Parton, Keke Palmer, Kirk Franklin, Jeremy Jordan, Angela Grovey, Ivan Kelley, Jr. and Karen Peck. The soundtrack is released on January 10, 2012. Joyful Noise is written and directed by Todd Graff and stars Queen Latifah, Dolly Parton, Keke Palmer, Kris Kristofferson, Courtney B. Vance and Jesse L. Martin. Warner Bros will release the comedy in theaters on January 13, 2012.

The Iron Lady Soundtrack [2011]

London, 2008. In her well-appointed apartment, the elderly former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher prepares breakfast for her husband Denis, as she has every morning of their married life. It’s not until Margaret’s personal aide bustles in that we see that Margaret sits at the table alone. Denis is alive only in her imagination.
Once described in life as “always present, never there”, Denis is still present for Margaret. Is he a loving memory made flesh? A manifestation of her grief? Or perhaps her conscience, taking her to task?

Locked in the infuriating inaction of retirement and battling ill health, Margaret is ambushed by memories. Fragments of her private life and of her premiership crowd in to her mind and she relives them in vivid detail. As she struggles to maintain her equilibrium, Denis teases and needles her. The struggle, the triumphs, the betrayals – in the end, what did she achieve? When all is said and done, was it worth it?
The Iron Lady is the story of a woman who came from nowhere to smash through barriers of gender and class to be heard in a male dominated world. It is a film about power and the price that is paid for power, a story that is both unique and universal.

Phyllida Lloyd‘s The Iron Lady stars Meryl Streep.  Based on a script by Abi Morgan, the film also stars Jim Broadbent as Denis Thatcher,  Alexandra Roach and Harry Lloyd will play the younger Thatchers. The British cast includes Olivia Colman, Nicholas Farrell, Susan Brown, Roger Allam, Anthony Head, Julian Wadham, Pip Torrens, Nick Dunning, Richard E Grant, David Westhead, Angus Wright and John Sessions. The film opens today 30th Dec 11.
