The Dark Knight Rises Soundtrack [2012]

It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.

But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.
Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar winner Christian Bale again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy as Bane; Oscar winner Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake. Returning to the main cast, Oscar winner Michael Caine plays Alfred; Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar winner Morgan Freeman reprises the role of Lucius Fox.

Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ “The Dark Knight Rises” is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on “Batman Begins” and the record-breaking blockbuster “The Dark Knight.” The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.

Reason to Smile :)

Safe & Sound lyrics (feat. The Civil Wars)

I remember tears streaming down your face
When I said "I'll never let you go"
When all those shadows almost killed your light
I remember you said "Don't leave me here alone"
But all that's dead and gone and past tonight.

Just close your eyes
The sun is going down
You'll be alright
No one can hurt you now
Come morning light
You and I'll be safe and sound

Don't you dare look out your window
Darling everything's on fire
[ From: http://www.elyrics.net/read/t/taylor-swift-lyrics/safe-&-sound-(feat.-the-civil-wars)-lyrics.html ]
The war outside our door keeps raging on
Hold on to this lullaby
Even when the music's gone
gone

Just close your eyes
The sun is going down
You'll be alright
No one can hurt you now
Come morning light
You and I'll be safe and sound

(INSTRUMENTAL)

Just close your eyes
You'll be alright
Come morning light
You and I'll be safe and sound

Conquest 1453 Soundtrack [2012]

The most expensive Turkish film ever made, FETIH (or Conquest 1453) is a historical epic about the Osman Turks’ successful siege of Constantinople in the year 1453, leading to the replacement of the Byzantine Empire with the Ottoman and the renaming of the city to Istanbul. Somewhat unsurprisingly, it is depicted entirely from the Turkish point of view, centered around Sultan Mehmet as the protagonist – and in Turkey, the film was released at exactly 14:53. Rather than hire a compatriot for this patriotic film, however, director Faruk Aksoy sought the services of one Benjamin Wallfishch to provide the score. Wallfisch is best-known in the film score industry for his orchestration work, notably on several of Dario Marianelli's works. Conquest 1453 marks his first major effort as a composer, and it is a promising one indeed.

Conquest 1453, also known as Fetih 1453 is a Turkish film, but not any Turkish film. It’s the most successful film ever in Turkey. In 1453, the Byzantine capital of constantinople is surrounded by Ottoman Turks. The city is a mere shadow of it’s former self, but there will be battle. The score is composed by Benjamin Wallfisch.

Intruders Soundtrack [2012]

Starring Clive Owen, Daniel Brühl, Carice Van Houten, Pilar López de Ayala, Ella Purnell, Izan Corchero and Kerry Fox, the supernatural / horror  thriller is directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later).

This looks to be an interesting film that promises far more than the average horror, and that’s also reflected in the cast that it’s sporting.
Though no one can see him, Hollow Face lurks in the corners, desperately desiring love but only knowing how to spread fear and hate. He creeps into the life of John Farrow (Clive Owen) after Farrow’s beloved 13-year-old daughter Mia (Ella Purnell) is assaulted in their home. The line between the real and the imaginary blurs as fissures start to open within the family unit. It seems that no security measure can keep Hollow Face out.

Intruders was set to hit theaters on March 30th, 2012.
Music composed by Roque Banos.

Get The Gringo Soundtrack [2012]

Mel Gibson’s action-comedy film Get the Gringo. Previously titled How I Spent My Summer Vacation, the story sees Gibson take on the role of ‘Driver’, a criminal who learns to survive in a Mexican prison with the help of a 10-year-old boy.
The story of Driver, a career criminal who is picked up by the Mexican police as he desperately tries to cross the border in a car stuffed full of stolen cash. The police take the cash and dump him in the infamous El Pueblito prison – a hell on earth where the prison gangs run the show. Driver has no ID or fingerprints but he still gets a visit from a corrupt American Embassy official who has heard about the money. If Driver doesn’t find a way of paying him off while he’s inside, then he’s going to let the authorities know where Driver is. And it won’t be long before the guys he stole the money from find him too.
Driver knows it is sink or swim. He hooks up with a young boy who shows him how to survive in the prison, but the kid has a terrible secret. He shares a rare blood type with Javi – the criminal who ruthlessly controls the prison and everyone in it. The kid is Javi’s life insurance policy and he has doctors on standby to transplant his liver whenever the time comes. But Driver has other ideas and pretty soon he devises an audacious plan to escape with the kid, the kid’s mother and the money.
The film is directed by Adrian Grunberg, a first assistant director (Jarhead, Apocalypto) making his feature debut.
