Brake Soundtrack [2012]

Jeremy Reins (Dorff) is about to have a very bad day.  He wakes up in total darkness, confused and disoriented.  The only light comes from the blood-red digital numbers ticking away above his head.  Jeremy quickly realizes he’s in trouble. It’s hard to breathe.  He can barely move.  And no one will answer his cries for help.  Then, he hears the sound of an engine and it all becomes clear … he’s trapped in the trunk of a moving car.

As his captors reveal themselves and their motives, Jeremy realizes he won’t be set free until he gives up the whereabouts of “Roulette,” a secret location where the U.S. President is taken in the event of a terrorist attack.
Action film veteran Brian Tyler provides an electronic-acoustic minimalist score that focuses on emotion and memory. At times intense and at times melancholy, the BRAKE score utilizes many unorthodox sounds including automobile parts, vintage synthesizers and drum machines, prepared pianos, guitars, percussion, and ambient soundscapes.

Columbus Circle Soundtrack [2012]

Abigail Clayton (Selma Blair) lives alone. Very alone. In fact, the attractive heiress has not left her Manhattan loft apartment for almost two decades. The famous daughter of a wealthy industrialist, Abigail disappeared from the prying eyes of the press and the intrusiveness of her family on her 18th birthday, the day she received her massive inheritance. During years of self-imposed isolation, Abigail has had contact with only two people-her building's Concierge, Klandermann (Kevin Pollack), with whom she communicates via notes-and Dr. Raymond Fontaine (Beau Bridges), a longtime family friend and her sole confidant for most of her life. When the death of her elderly neighbor prompts NYPD Homicide Detective Frank Giardello (Giovanni Ribisi) to launch an investigation, the agoraphobic Abigail is distressed to find him outside her door, asking to question her. Having tried to acquire the dead woman's now vacant apartment to ensure her privacy, Abigail is further upset when her requests go unanswered, and new tenants Lillian and Charlie (Amy Smart and Jason Lee) move in. Abigail anxiously monitors her new neighbors from the safety of her front door's peephole, but her well-ordered world begins to unravel when she finally encounters Lillian and Charlie face-to-face-and her sheltered existence becomes threatened in unexpected and terrifying ways.
For Columbus Circle, Brian Tyler has composed a chamber ensemble score featuring a string octet, piano, marimba, and vibraphone. The score is mysterious, intricate, and passionate with a nod to the great noir thrillers of the 1940s.  It is composed around 3 main themes and also features violin, cello, and piano solos.

The Hunger Games Score [2012]

You can now get the original score from The Hunger Games by James Newton Howard. This is something we were really looking forward to, because there were some exceptional themes throughout the movie. We especially liked the Appalachian-sounding parts when Katniss searches for Peeta or receives silver parachutes. Some of the Capitol fanfares are spectacular too.

One of the unlucky thing is this version now not in good quality. Anyhow good music's deserved to listen to. I'll inform for better version. See ya.

A Walk In The Clouds Soundtrack [1995-2012]

La-La Land Records and 20th Century Fox presents the remastered and expanded release of renowned composer Maurice Jarre's (Lawrence of Arabia, The Professionals, Witness, Enemy Mine) sumptuously romantic score to 20th Century Fox's 1995 post WWII-era drama A Walk in the Clouds, starring Keanu Reeves and Anthony Quinn and directed by Alfonso Arau.

Composer Maurice Jarre's lush and heartwarming orchestral score, full of sweeping and colorful themes, perfectly compliments cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki's breathtaking imagery, while also harnessing the film's deeply felt emotions and romantic plot, set against a post WWII Napa Valley vineyard.
At 72 minutes, this expanded release nearly doubles the length of this score's previous soundtrack releases. The Hunger Games Songs from District 12 and Beyond [2012]
This film a Gary Ross‘ upcoming adaptation of The Hunger Games, the first novel in Suzanne Collins’ original trilogy, which features a new image of Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence), shooting her bow and arrow in profile.
The Hunger Games follows Katniss and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), two tributes from District 12 living in the futuristic world of Panem who are forced to enter the annual Hunger Games, a fight-to-the-death competition between young representatives of each of the 12 districts.

Katniss’ advantage in the Games is her skill with a bow and arrow (as emphasized in the poster), which she honed while illegally hunting for food for survival with her friend Gale (Liam Hemsworth).

Lionsgate announced a few weeks ago that The Hunger Games would be given a limited, one-week run in IMAX theaters, starting March 23rd, 2012.
The original songs from a variety of folk, country, indie-rock and hip-hop acts, inspired by the film adaption of Suzanne Collin’s The Hunger Games novel, are anything but upbeat and happy. They run the gamut of emotions from melancholy (Taylor Swift‘s “Safe and Sound”) to desperation (Miranda Lambert ft. Pistol Annie‘s “Run Daddy Run“) and everything in-between.

Might you've seen the video clip Safe and Sound of Taylor for so long but I find out that the covers are more interesting. And here you are some covers song, one is from Megan Nicole and Tiffany Alvord.

One more from the always loving singer Kina Grannis.

And why you not try out this song sung by Julia Sheer.

[Taylor Swift]
I remember tears streaming down your face
When I said, I'll never let you go
When all those shadows almost killed your light
I remember you said, Don't leave me here alone
But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight

Just close your eyes

The sun is going down
You'll be alright
No one can hurt you now
Come morning light
You and I'll be safe and sound

Don't you dare look out your window darling

Everything's on fire
The war outside our door keeps raging on
Hold onto this lullaby
Even when the music's gone

Just close your eyes

The sun is going down
You'll be alright
No one can hurt you now
Come morning light
You and I'll be safe and sound

Just close your eyes

You'll be alright
Come morning light,
You and I'll be safe and sound...

World's Largest Rope Swing

Devin Graham has created what he calls the world's largest rope swing, which boasts a whopping 130 foot drop, the Sun reports.

Shot over two days in Bootlegger Canyon, Moab Utah, the video features Graham's friends flying through the air, secured only by rock climbing ropes. Some of them don't even wear a helmet.

Enjoy the craziest swing over one big round cliff.
