Where are you?

When minutes become hours
When days become years
And I dont know where you are
Color seems so dull without you

Have we lost our minds?

What have we done?
But it all doesnt seem to matter anymore

When you kissed me on that street, I kissed you back

You held me in your arms, I held you in mine
You picked me up to lay me down
When I look into your eyes
I can hear you cry for a little bit more of you and I
Im drenched in your love
Im no longer able to hold it back

Is it too late to ask for love?

Is it wrong to feel right?
When the world is winding down
Thoughts of you linger around

Have we lost our minds?

What have we done?
But it all doesnt seem to matter anymore

When you kissed me on that street, I kissed you back

You held me in your arms, I held you in mine
You picked me up to lay me down
When I look into your eyes
I can hear you cry for a little bit more of you and I
Im drenched in your love
Im no longer able to hold it back

The Cold Light of Day Soundtrack [2012]

Mabrouk El-Mechri‘s (JCVD) action-thriller The Cold Light of Day. Starring Henry Cavill, Bruce Willis, Veronica Echegui, and Sigourney Weaver and follows Cavill’s character as he fights his way through Spain to fix the mess his father left for him and to save his family from their captors.

When Will Shaw (Henry Cavill) arrives in Spain for a weeklong sailing vacation with his family, the stressed young business man is not in a holiday mood. His startup company just went under and his tense relationship with his disciplinarian father Martin (Bruce Willis) only makes matters worse. But when the family is kidnapped by what turns out to be intelligence agents hell-bent on recovering a mysterious suitcase, Will suddenly finds himself on the run. His whole world turns upside down when Martin reappears, revealing he is an undercover agent tangled in an intergovernmental web of lies and secrets. During a clandestine rendezvous, Martin is killed by a sniper, and Will must find a way to get the rest of his family back alive.
With the kidnappers counting down the hours, the Spanish police breathing down his neck for a murder he didn’t commit and a cadre of U.S. assassins on his trail, Will flees through Madrid, racing to piece together a conspiracy as labyrinthine as the city’s ancient streets. Who can he trust? Who killed his father? And where is the mysterious suitcase that seems to the key to getting his family come safely? In his quest for answers, Will finds Lucia (Veronica Echegui) – a half-sister he never knew he had, who is determined to help him. Bound by their shared kiss, the siblings are a force to be reckoned with, but can they overcome the massive odds against them before it’s too late?
Music composed by young and talented Lucas Vidal (Raven, Sleep Tight).

Ben-Hur Complete Soundtrack Collection [1959-2012]

It has taken over half a century, but Miklós Rózsa’s iconic score for William Wyler’s 1959 epic, “Ben-Hur”, arrives in complete form at last—and “complete” in the best FSM sense of the word. This 5CD “Complete Soundtrack Collection” includes every film cue, every outtake, every alternate and every additional take preserved by the studio, mastered from the original six-track recordings, augmented by rare material from the Miklós Rózsa collection at Syracuse University. In addition, the set contains all three LP recordings released by MGM Records in conjunction with the film—including the premiere CD release of the rare (and controversial) Lion label disc.

Rózsa’s mammoth and colorfully orchestrated score—over two hours long—is rich in thematic material. Even so, over six hours of music from a single film might be a bit much for continuous listening, so FSM has organized the material into six different programs. Disc 1 and 2 are devoted to the full score (with outtakes); discs 3 and 4 present alternates from Acts One and Two in film order; disc 5 features still more alternates and bonus tracks (including a “do-over” of a "Quo Vadis" cue first released in FSM’s 15CD Miklós Rózsa Treasury). The three “soundtrack” LPs (all re-recordings made in Europe) make up the first half of discs 3–5.

Befitting its scope, nearly 20,000 words of text accompany this “Monumentum Maximum” edition. About 4,000 of them appear in the 28-page booklet, beautifully designed by FSM art director Joe Sikoryak and featuring track lists, film stills, poster art, album covers and essays on film (by Jeff Bond) and score (by Frank K. DeWald). In order to make the set more affordable, FSM is providing the rest of the notes online—for free. These include a track-by-track analysis of the film score, original LP liner notes and an explication of the various alternates and album versions.

With audio restored, remixed and assembled by Mike Matessino and Neil S. Bulk and with digital mastering by Doug Schwartz (a veteran of Rhino’s distinguished 2CD set from 1996), this stunning release is the capstone of FSM’s commitment (now totaling 40 discs) to this outstanding Golden Age composer.

Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance Score [2012]

Nicolas Cage returns as Johnny Blaze in Columbia Pictures’ and Hyde Park Entertainment’s Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. In the successor to the worldwide hit Ghost Rider, Johnny – still struggling with his curse as the devil’s bounty hunter – is hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy (Fergus Riordan) from the devil (Ciaran Hinds). At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy – and possibly rid himself of his curse forever.

Also stars Idris Elba, Christopher Lambert, Johnny Whitworth, and Violante Placido.

The movie is directed by Crank duo Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. Based on a script David Goyer wrote nine years ago, “Spirit of Vengeance” was re-written by Scott Gimple (ABC’s canceled Flash Forward) and Seth Hoffman (Fox’s Prison Break).

Music composed by David Sardy.

Cloclo Soundtrack [2012]

As kitschy and overstuffed as some of the legendary French singer’s numerous hits, My Way (Cloclo) is a long-winded, by-the-numbers portrait of Claude “Cloclo” Francois, whose worldwide claim to fame is the eponymous Frank Sinatra ballad he originally composed and performed under the title “Comme d’habitude.” Indeed, it’s business as usual in this 2 ½ hour biopic from Florent-Emilio Siri, which offers up a mix of fortune, glory and outdated haircuts with very little originality or dramatic gravitas. A lively turn from Dardenne Bros. regular Jeremie Renier may help the film finds its way to a few offshore markets outside its huge Francophone fan base.

One of the biggest pop stars in French history, Francois took the nation by storm in the '60s and '70s with a string of chart toppers, ranging from rock ‘n’ roll covers of the Everly Brothers and Frankie Valli to disco hits like “Alexandrie Alexandra” and “Je vais a Rio.” Charismatic and monomaniacal, and clearly unabashed about the tackier sides of showbiz, Francois stayed in the spotlight for as long as he could, changing up styles to compete with rival artists and even orchestrating his own on-stage collapse to remain in the headlines.

Jennifer 8 Soundtrack [1992-2012]

In the early 90's, the serial killer genre had taken off to new heights of success thanks to the Academy Award winning thrillers, The Silence of the Lambs and Basic Instinct. The celluloid world would see even more and inventive ones such as Se7en and Copycat years later, there was one that unfortunately wasn't successful but still a thoughtful and enjoyable one in the genre, which is Jennifer 8.  The film stars Andy Garcia, as John Berlin a former L.A. detective who after a bitter divorce and stress in his old job relocates to Eureka, a small northern California town thanks to his friend and partner (Lance Henriksen) and as soon as he arrives, a murder has taken place. With a reputation of being a troublemaker, Berlin soon finds himself embroiled in a cold missing persons case resembling a recent murder that's already taken place which leads him to meet Helena (Uma Thurman), a blind cellist who's roommate has gone missing and maybe the victim Berlin's investigating. Soon he falls for Helena hard and risks everything to protect her as well as find the killer while batting scrutny from his co-workers and one tough interrogator St.Anne (John Malkovich). The film was written and directed by Bruce Robinson, who made the recent Johnny Depp comedy, The Rum Diary.

Music written by Chris Young except "Humming Song (From Madame Butterfly)" (Giacomo Puccini) and "Stille Nacht, Heilige Nacht" (F. Gruber/J. Mohr).

Christopher Young's score for this detective thriller is based on slow, contemplative piano figures augmented with strings in the wistful, ominous, and threatening tones consistent with the movie's theme. Bits of "Madame Butterfly" and "Silent Night" fill out the score.

White Fang Soundtrack [1991-2012]

Treat for Basil Poledouris and Hans Zimmer fans! World premiere 2-CD release of both composer's powerful soundtracks for Randal Kleiser filming of Jack London's outdoor boy & wolf tale WHITE FANG, presented by Walt Disney Pictures, starring Ethan Hawke, Klaus Maria Brandauer, James Remar.

CD1 offers rich, evocative score by Poledouris, given primary credit in finished film. Stately main theme in major key anchors, while numerous motifs, smaller ideas create multi-layered musical tapestry of turn-of-the-19th-century gold prospecting in Alaska. In contrast are sequences both frightening, tender. Several cues never before heard add depth to impressive score. But there's much more!

CD2 offers second score by Hans Zimmer, much of it also featured in film, with completely different thematic material spotlighting composer's then new meld of symphony with synthesizer. Early-ish Zimmer score offers perhaps his largest-scale scoring to that date. Powerful themes, aggressive action, rhythmic adventure, tingling suspense, gentle warmth... it's all here! Hostel Part III Soundtrack [2012]

High stakes gambling takes on a sinister new meaning in this third chapter of the terrifying HOSTEL series. While attending a bachelor party in Las Vegas, four friends are enticed by two sexy escorts to join them at a private party way off the Strip. Once there, they are horrified to find themselves the subjects of a perverse game of torture, where members of the Elite Hunting Club are hosting the most sadistic show in town.

Following in the footsteps of composer Nathan Barr's exceptional scores for the first two installments of the HOSTEL series, Frederik Wiedmann delivers his own powerful symphonic chapter to the horror saga.

The Island at the Top of the World [1974-2012]

World premiere release of exciting, melodic large-scale orchestral score by Maurice Jarre for Robert Stevenson action fantasy from Walt Disney Pictures, starring David Hartman, Jacques Marin, Mako. Silent World

"Silent World," a photography project by Parisian artists Lucie & Simon, takes the most crowded parts of New York City, Paris, and Beijing, and alters them in a basic (but technically incredible difficult) way. We recognize Times Square, Columbus Circle, and more landmarks from our own hometown, but only barely--those usually people-clogged landmarks are now empty, totally bereft of the swarms of tourists and locals alike that give those areas their personality.
