The X-BOX [2011]

La La Land Records is releasing a long-anticipated 4-CD box set with Mark Snow's music over the 9 seasons of The X-Files. La La Land is a well-established soundtrack label that previously treated fans with a 2-CD release of music from "MillenniuM" and a CD with music from "The Lone Gunmen" and "Harsh Realm". The X-Files set, nicknamed the "X-Box", has been in the works since 2008. Price: $49.98.

Music from the series had only one previous commercial release, back when soundtracks from TV series were rare: the 1996 album "The Truth and the Light". That makes over 14 years of waiting for this X-BOX!

It is rumoured that only 3000 copies of the X-BOX will be released. It is also rumoured that if the X-BOX sells well, more will be coming!
