Directed by Rodrigo Cortes, Buried is about a guy named Paul (Reynolds) a U.S. contractor working in Iraq. After he’s attacked by a group of Iraqis he randomly wakes up to find himself buried alive inside a coffin! Armed with only a lighter and a cell phone he’s in a race against time to escape this claustrophobic death trap. Are you kidding me? Isn’t that the opening scene of every Saw movie? Waking up in some type of restrictive space or device and not knowing how you got there?
This film is a much watch while Ryan Reynolds is one of those few actors that can keep your completely entertained and carry you from start to finish all by himself. One thing you have to ask to know what is his phone service's provider which can work 6 or 7 feet underground.
